GCG Connectivity & Power Solutions (CPS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Project Specialist to join our purchasing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional looking to expand their experience in supply chain operations, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the timely flow of materials and on-time customer deliveries for key projects and initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with purchasing, operations, and commercial teams to coordinate orders, optimize inventory, and identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement after onboarding and training has concluded. The incumbent to the role will be expected to be in office 5 days per week for the first three to four months for onboarding and training.

Support the coordination of purchasing, inventory management, and order fulfillment for customer and internal projects
Monitor stock levels at warehouses and third-party logistics partners, ensuring materials are available to meet project timelines
Partner with operations and commercial teams to align forecasts, safety stock levels, and demand planning for key customer accounts
Lead or participate in cross-functional projects focused on improving supply chain processes, vendor performance, and operational efficiency
Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment, resolve supply issues, and share progress updates
Track and analyze supply chain metrics such as inventory turns, on-time delivery, and cost savings initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation of purchase orders, inventory movements, and supplier communications
Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with peers to implement solutions
Participate in quarterly inventory reviews and continuous improvement initiatives across sites
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or project coordination roles
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with project management principles, including planning, coordination, and execution
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, hands-on approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other business applications
Experience using an ERP system
