GCG Custom Engineered Solutions (CES) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing, procurement, and inventory operations for our growing business. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional who thrives on building structure, driving process improvements, and empowering teams to deliver exceptional results.
In this role, you’ll oversee procurement and inventory control processes, ensuring the efficient, cost-effective flow of materials across manufacturing and distribution operations. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimize performance, enhance vendor relationships, and identify opportunities to streamline purchasing and logistics.

Lead all aspects of purchasing and procurement operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements
Analyze stock levels, forecasts, and manufacturing schedules to ensure timely availability of goods
Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering to allocate materials and direct inventory flow
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier terms to optimize cost and performance
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term business growth
Develop and implement process improvements using MRP systems, Excel, and other analytical tools
Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality or delivery issues, and drive corrective actions
Oversee and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability
Partner cross-functionally to improve data governance and reporting accuracy
Evaluate market trends and cost drivers to guide purchasing strategies and decision-making
6+ years of purchasing and procurement experience, including 3+ years in a supply chain management or leadership role
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with proven success managing teams
Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort working with MRP systems or similar tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive measurable improvements
Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating cost-effective supply solutions
Understanding of fully landed costs, Incoterms, and global purchasing practices preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Experience in the wire and cable, renewable energy, or utilities markets is a plus
Competitive base salary between $110,000 - $130,000 and annual bonus based on company and individual performance
