GCG Automation & Factory Solutions is seeking a Lead Generation Specialist to fuel the growth of our Collaborative Robots (Cobots) business. In this high-impact role, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers—introducing them to automation possibilities and securing the critical first step: a feasibility consultation with our Cobot Product Manager.
As the voice of GCG’s cobot solutions, you’ll represent cutting-edge automation technology through phone, email, and digital outreach. This role will work from our office in Germantown, WI located at N114W18770 Clinton Dr, Germantown, WI 53022.
Partner with Marketing and the Cobot Product Manager to design targeted outreach campaigns and tools
Research and identify prospects using defined profiles, CRM tools, and lead databases
Initiate outreach via phone, email, and digital platforms to build interest and rapport with decision-makers
Secure and schedule feasibility consultations with the Cobot Product Manager
Qualify inbound leads from vendor referrals and marketing campaigns to move them into the sales pipeline
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), tracking activity, lead status, and performance metrics
2–4 years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or customer success roles
A confident, outgoing communication style—skilled at engaging engineers, operations leaders, and executives alike
Clear, persuasive communication skills, with strong listening and follow-up abilities
Hands-on experience with CRMs (Salesforce or similar), lead research tools, and marketing automation platforms
A collaborative mindset—comfortable partnering with product managers, marketing, and sales teams
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Curiosity and comfort learning technical concepts; exposure to robotics, industrial automation, or technical sales is a plus
