GCG Automation and Factory Solutions (AFS) is seeking a Repair & Services Project Specialist to join our growing services team!
In this hands-on role, you'll manage small-to-medium automation service and repair projects from end to end—overseeing everything from pricing and resource alignment to execution and customer satisfaction. With a focus on accuracy, efficiency, problem-solving, and process discipline, you'll play a key role by exercising discretion and judgment to reduce delays, maintain data integrity, and support the overall effectiveness (e.g., service delivery, cost management, customer outcomes) of repair and service operations. You'll serve as a liaison between supporting teams (application and field engineers), repair partners, and our internal systems, maintaining visibility of project status, ensuring the right expertise is in place to meet project requirements, and verifying work is completed to company standards.
This role will require occasional travel to customer sites as well as other company facilities from time to time, to assist with critical repair and services opportunities. When not engaged in work-related travel, this role offers a hybrid schedule, reporting into our Rochester Hills, MI office 3-4 days a week.
