GCG is currently seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to join our Corporate IT team!
In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate inventory records and managing the hardware lifecycle for desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals. Your work will directly support employee onboarding and offboarding, ensure up-to-date images and driver packages, and keep critical asset management systems operating smoothly. You’ll be a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, helping to support timely access to the hardware and systems they need to work effectively.

Please note that this position is onsite 5 days per week at our facility in Chicago, IL.
Location: 8550 W. Bryn Mawr STE 400 Chicago, Illinois 60631
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Track and update asset records using Fresh Service, LanSweeper, UEM, and AD360
Manage key card access systems such as Verkada
Audit and reconcile inventory levels to ensure accuracy
Support hardware imaging, shipping, returns, and warranty coordination
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding hardware setups
Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide excellent internal customer service
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and IT asset management policies
1–3 years of experience in IT with a focus on hardware and asset management
Working knowledge of IT inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to provide clear, effective communication and user support
Familiarity with hardware imaging processes preferred
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred
Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 lbs.
