Overview

GCG is currently seeking an Solution Center Assembly Technician to join our team in Miamisburg, OH.

In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in assembling and wiring components that power our automation solutions. You'll work from diagrams and instructions to ensure products meet quality, performance, and safety standards. If you're detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and enjoy contributing to team success in a light manufacturing environment, we’d love to meet you.

 

Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM M-F

Pay Rate: $17/hr and up based on experience, with full benefits

Location: 2400 Technical Drive Miamisburg, Ohio

 

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble and wire components according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Interpret and follow assembly and wiring diagrams with accuracy
  • Utilize hand and power tools to assemble mechanical systems
  • Document accurate records of each assembly within Microsoft
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and tasks

 

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma/GED require
  • Prior experience in cable assembly or a related field is preferred
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly and wiring diagrams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks and challenges
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
