Overview

Paige Electric, a GCG company, is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate to join their tight knit team! 

As a Warehouse Associate, you will handle a wide range of responsibilities including unloading and processing large shipments, order picking, wrapping and weighing materials, and supporting wire and cable operations such as cutting and spooling.

 

The team is highly collaborative, efficient, and values flexibility and reliability. We’re looking for someone who brings strong warehouse experience, can confidently operate forklifts and stand-up Crown stackers, and is ready to contribute in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

 

 

Schedule: 7:00AM-3:30PM EST Mon-Fri 

Pay Rate: $17-17.50/hr + full benefits

Location: 2058 Forbes Trail Road Mcconnellsburg, PA

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Verify order accuracy using ERP systems and workstation procedures
  • Unload trucks, including weekly MTO shipments of up to 100 gaylords
  • Prepare and route shipments, including documentation, labeling, packing, and weighing materials
  • Cut and spool wire and cable as needed
  • Operate machinery such as a sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and Crown stackers (stand-up)
  • Pull back orders, complete inventory cycle counts, and maintain warehouse cleanliness
  • Communicate with carriers and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping or receiving issues
  • Provide Will Call coverage with excellent customer service skills
  • Follow all safety procedures and assist in maintaining accurate safety and loss prevention documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to support a flexible and cooperative workflow

What You’ll Bring

  • Prior experience operating sit-down forklifts and stand-up Crown stackers (required)
  • At least 1–3 years of relevant warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage
  • Strong attention to detail, including accurate labeling and packing
  • Ability to read and interpret pick lists, manifests, and shipping orders
  • Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and performing repetitive physical tasks
  • Basic math skills, including tape measurement, addition/subtraction, and order calculation
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to be cross-trained
  • Positive, safety-first mindset with strong time management skills
