Overview

GCG is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team within our Collegeville, PA office! 

 

As an integral member of our IT Support team, you will leverage technical know-how and trouble-shooting skills to support our end users not only within our Collegeville facility but also across the company.  You'll uphold our team's commitment to internal customer service to address and resolve end user challenges in an expedient and comprehensive way while working collaboratively with the rest of our IT department to make progress with on-going IT projects.

Please note that this position is onsite 5 days per week at our facility in Collegeville, PA. 

 

 What you'll do

  • Provides technical assistance and support for technical issues related to systems, networking, phone systems, audio/visual equipment, computer software (e.g. Windows 11, Microsoft Office, various browsers etc.)
  • Provides installation and assistance for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other assigned peripherals
  • Technical expertise should include Windows 11, MS Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM, utilization of GPOs, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, Helpdesk ticketing systems, and Azure
  • Work with and troubleshoot Office 365, Azure applications, SharePoint and Exchange
  • Troubleshoot networked and Wi-Fi devices such as but not limited to barcode scan guns, thermal/laser printers, Android, iOS, Windows tablets, mobile phones, and workstations
  • Create and update documentation as needed

What you'll bring

  • Associate's / Bachelor's Degree in IT and certifications preferred
  • 4+ years of Service desk experience; experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment a plus
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, MS Office Products including Office 365
  • Ability to work on a team to architect, design, and implement new technologies or operation improvements
  • Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with end users and deliver effective remote support
  • Willingness and ability to support a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate satisfactory business resolutions
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, develop solutions, and drive toward targeted results
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, 5-10%
