Allied Wire and Cable, a GCG Company, is a seeking passionate Customer Success / Inside Sales Manager to lead and inspire a group of dedicated Account Managers.

 

As Allied's CSM, you'll manage, develop, and coach a team of 6 to 8 Customer Success team members.  You will focus on delivering an industry leading customer experience while supporting the day-to-day work of your team, overseeing processes, systems, products, customers, and suppliers.   You will motivate and inspire the members of your team by creating an inclusive, performance driven culture where each individual feels valued and thrives.

 

In this role, collaboration is key, as you will work closely with Territory Sales Managers, Business Development Representatives, and other sales leaders to achieve collective goals.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement after onboarding and initial training has been completed.  While in office, you will work from the Allied Wire and Cable headquarters located at 101 Kestrel Drive Collegeville, PA 19426

 

What you’ll do 

  • Collaborate with the sales leadership to set, meet, or exceed all critical KPIs for the teams, including:
    • Revenue and margin plans
    • Quotes and close ratios
    • New customer acquisition
  • Expansion of share of wallet with existing customers through proactive approaches
  • Monitor the day-to-day work on the team to ensure that all team members are delivering an industry-leading customer experience
  • Function as the lead for inside sellers with respect to processes, systems, products, customers, and suppliers
  • Work with the Pricing Team to coach and support pricing discipline across the team
  • Motivate and inspires employees to do their best work by creating an inclusive and innovative culture where each individual feels valued and thrives
  • Stay current with new products, acquires and shares competitive knowledge
  • Demonstrate a curiosity mindset to seek creative solutions
  • Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing across the organization
  • Participate in training and company meetings as required
  • Develop a team culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance
  • Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning
  • Partner with Human Resources to collaborate on a regular basis
  • Actively coach, counsel and implement corrective measures as necessary with timely monitoring and appraisal of progress with the partnership of Human Resources
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in a B2B sales environment; wire and cable industry experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM system required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong computer skills
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor team members
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze issues based on data
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships, collaborating effectively
  • Adaptable to change and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with data-driven business practices
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
