Overview

Allied Wire and Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Collegeville, PA!

Hours: 5:00am to 1:30pm M-F

Location: 101 Kestrel Drive Collegeville, PA 19426

 

What you'll do

  • Inspect products using micrometers, calipers, rulers, and vision prior to shipment
  • Communicate with sales regarding issues with their order, unclear requests, or requesting specific documentation customers would require
  • Perform inspections of AWC Company products to determine conformance by accurately reading and interpreting product specifications and customer requirements
  • Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments including REACH, RoHS, CoC, etc
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Follow safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly

 

What you'll bring

  • High school education or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in a comparable role
  • Professional verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and take responsibility for own actions
  • Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
