Overview

Allied Wire & Cable, a GCG Company, is currently seeking driven, goal-oriented Account Managers to join our Collegeville, PA commercial team! 

 

As an account manager with our Customer Success team, you'll manage a robust book of accounts to  ensure an industry leading customer experience.  You will deliver on account plans as provided by sales leadership, identifying cross, up and repeat sales opportunities while working diligently to resolve any issues or concerns.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement.  While in office, you will work from Allied Wire and Cable offices in either Collegeville, PA, Bedford, NH, or Pewaukee, WI.

 

What you’ll do

  • Deliver revenue and margin targets at named accounts
  • Continuously develop relationships with customer stakeholders, understand primary business objectives, and recommend value deliverables
  • Communicate with Customer Success Manager and Territory Sales Managers as it relates to pursuing new agreements and increasing customer wallet-share
  • Maintain and manage a pipeline of opportunities, bringing velocity to the sales process
  • Generate formal quotes, follow-ups, and actively document results in CRM
  • Communicate customer activity, opportunity status, and plan progress to inside sales manager
  • Engage internal stakeholders to support and create customer solutions
  • Experience in sales process and take the lead in sales engagements
  • All other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring

  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3+ years proven sales experience
  • History of success maintaining and developing customer relationships
  • Proficiency with CRM software; Salesforce desired
  • Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse population of people
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Ability to think critically and analyze issues based on data
  • Collaborates effectively to get things done, building and nurturing strong relationships
  • Willing and able to embrace and adapt to change
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
