Overview

Allied Wire and Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is currently seeking Customer Service Representatives to join our Customer Success team!

As an AWC Customer Service Rep, you will work collaboratively with internal partners to provide a best-in-class support for customers across the division. You will onboard new customers and manage day-to-day customer activities such as customer orders, presale inquiries and post-sale transactions to ensure customer satisfaction.

After the initial training period has concluded, this role offers a hybrid work schedule consisting of 3 days per week in office and 2 days per week from home.  We are open to candidates working out of our offices in either Collegeville, PA, or Bedford, New Hampshire. 

 

What you'll do

  • Onboard all new customers
  • Respond to all customer inquiries with a sense of urgency and first contact resolution
  • Runs order reports and works with customers to manage appropriate expectations and proactively resolve problems
  • Actively participate in opportunities to improve individual knowledge of the company, products, markets, and systems
  • Use continuous improvement methodology and internal and external resources to enhance customer experience and drive process efficiency
  • Proactively collaborate with other team members to provide support and share information to ensure daily tasks are completed and both customer and business needs are achieved
  • Work toward and contributes to the success of all individual and team goals/metrics
  • Support phone coverage as needed
  • Perform other duties

What you'll bring

 

  • 1+ year of Customer Service experience in any industry
  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse population of people
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to think critically and analyze issues based on data
