GCG Automation Factory Solutions, is ready to add a RoboticsSales and Business Development Specialist to our team based in Miamisburg, OH.  In this role, you will provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance with products, develop and qualify applications with the product, and conduct trainings. You will also take responsibility for growing Robotics products and any other added autonomous robots throughout the C&E Advanced Technologies geography consisting of: Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Mississippi.     This role offers flexible/hybrid scheduling, up to 70% travel, and the opportunity to join a growing, essential business.   This role is cross-functional being 30% Technical, 30% Project Management, and 40% Sales & Business Development.   The salary range for this role is $75,000.00 - $85,500.00 per year.    What you’ll do - Assisting the Engineering Team on various stages of robotic projects both pre and post sales:  System Sizing, Simulation, Proof of Concept, Commissioning, Troubleshooting, Testing and Debugging.   - Working with customers to identify automation opportunities in their plant processes and effectively convert the findings into system requirements. Be able to communicate these requirements to the technical team to create a proposal for the solution for the customer.  -  Ability to understand and be involved in the commercial decision-making processes at the customer to drive the opportunity to a win.  - Project manage opportunities to make sure they are moving forward, and consistent action is being taken. This may include being the liaison between the customer, GCG salesperson, GCG engineering teams, and GCG integration partners.   - Performing product demos, lunch and learns, and other events to educate customers on our robotics products and service offerings. Taking responsibility of finding opportunities for accomplish this.   - Define system requirements to prepare quotes in association with the engineering team. Preparing and assisting in preparation of quotes with the customer service and sales teams.   - Becoming the product expert for GCG’s core robot product offerings and providing effective application knowledge and technical support to sales teams as well as customers.  - Developing and maintaining extensive knowledge of product offerings, specifications, etc. to assist sales staff, customers, and customer service with product selection.   - Occasionally educating and training sales staff, customer service, and marketing regarding basic robotic principles, pricing, and product information.   - Keeping sales teams interested in selling robots and motivating them to do so.  - Reaching out to leads coming from various vendors and other marketing channels and acting as the “account manager” for these leads.  - New Business Development during times when there are not enough opportunities in the pipeline, leading initiatives of ways of generating new opportunities.  - Leading events like beer and bots, and other marketing events working with the GCG event coordinators and marketing teams.   - Providing sales support for pricing and strategies for GCG’s robotic products.
